JOHN BREEN is a super terrific director, writer, actor and teacher. His acting credits include Wendy and Lucy with a little someone called Michelle Williams; Untraceable starring, maybe you’ve heard of her, Diane Lane; numerous appearances on a show…what was it called again? Oh yeah, Late Night with Conan O’Brien. He also starred in James Westby’s The Auteur, Rid of Me and Film Geek. And portrayed a bad-ass MMA fighter in Todd Freeman’s Cell Count, not a stretch.
As a director Breen is currently developing two feature films THE LAST GARDEN andCROOK COUNTY WAR. He’s directed several short films, screening in NYC, SF, LA and PDX. He also directed a music video for some…shoe company or something. It’ll come to me…Nike.
As a stage director, Breen only directs ridiculous hits: Road House:The Play!, The Lost Boys-Live!, Sweat, The Aces, and coming this holiday season, Rudolph: On Stage!
As an improviser and sketch comedian, Breen performed regularly at Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre in NYC, Vancouver International Comedy Festival and the major Sketchfests. He currently performs with The Liberators, “the standout improv troupe in town.” - Portland Mercury.
